Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding service charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Service Charge: €50 for card transactions
Requirements: Must be requested via email or telephone in written form
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total charter price
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Service Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund total
Requirements: A legitimate reason is required; administrative costs will be incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No reimbursements provided
Exceptions: Cases of emergencies might be taken into consideration
Alternative: A credit for future charters could be offered at the discretion of the management
Requirements: Documentation is necessary for emergency situations
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our highest concern. If chartering conditions are considered risky due to weather by our certified captain, we provide flexible alternatives:
- Full Refund: Offered if rescheduling is not a possibility
- Reschedule: Arrange your charter for the soonest available date without additional costs
- Charter Credit: Given a credit valid for one year from the original charter date
Weather Assessment Process
Our assessment of the weather includes:
- Analyzing wind speed and direction
- Assessing wave height and the condition of the sea
- Forecasting visibility and chances of precipitation
- Heeding Coast Guard advisories and warnings
- Evaluating safety with a professional captain's judgement
Decision Timeframe: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are finalized at most 4 hours before the planned departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We recognize that unforeseen medical emergencies may arise. The subsequent situations might qualify for particular consideration:
- Sudden injury or illness leading to hospitalization
- A family member passing away
- Emergency military orders or deployment
- Being subpoenaed or called for jury duty
- Events of natural disasters impacting travel
Required Documentation
For processing of emergency refund requests, the following documents are required:
- Documentation from the hospital or a medical certificate
- Certified copy of a death certificate (if applicable)
- Deployment or military orders
- Jury duty summons or court orders
- Declarations of emergencies or travel advisories
Procedure: Refunds for emergencies are managed within 3-5 business days following the submission of appropriate documentation.
Operational Cancellations
Technical Failures
If the vessel designated to you has mechanical problems that remain unresolved:
- Alternate Vessel: We'll try to supply a similar alternative vessel
- Full Refund: Offered if there's no suitable replacement
- Partial Refund: Provided if different pricing applies to the alternative vessel
- Compensation: Additional considerations might be granted for the inconvenience
Crew Non-availability
In the rare occurrence that a certified crew is not available:
- We will make arrangements for an alternative crew when feasible
- Whole refund if the charter can't take place
- Rescheduling without additional fees
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds are managed through the original form of payment utilized for the reservation:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days
Service Charges
Credit Card Operations
A €50 charge for cancellations more than three days in advance
Bank Transfer Operations
A €25 charge for all refunds via bank transfer
International Operations
Extra charges might apply for transactions across borders
Charter Credits
Occasions for Credit Issuance
In particular scenarios, credits for charters might be given instead of refunds:
- Last-minute cancellations (under a day's notice)
- Cancellations due to adverse weather
- Voluntary postponement requests by the client
- Disruptions due to operational circumstances
Credit Details
- Duration: Active for one year post-issuance
- Transfer Limitations: Credits cannot be shared with other individuals
- Value: Equivalent to the entire charter cost (excluding service fees)
- Applicability: Usable for any future charter that's available
- Expiry Date: No extensions past the 12-month validity
Partial Service Refunds
Interruptions During Service
If your charter is interrupted or cut short due to reasons we oversee:
- A refund adjusted based on the unutilized period
- Credit equal in value for a future charter
- Complimentary services or upgrades as compensation
Interruptions Caused by Guest
If a charter concludes early because of the actions of a guest or breaches in safety protocol:
- No reimbursements for the duration not used
- Full payment will be required
- Potential extra charges may be levied
Dispute Handling
In instances of disagreement with a refund determination, you may:
- Ask for an evaluation from our management
- Submit extra documentation or proof
- Contact consumer protection entities for a resolution
- Use legal avenues as allowed by prevailing laws
